About Northlake Dental Association
Representing dentists and serving communities in Southeast Louisiana since 1978
Our History
Established in 1978, Northlake Dental Association represents dentists in St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes. For more than four decades, NDA has brought local dental professionals together through continuing education, professional connection and service to our communities.
Our Mission
To develop excellence in dentistry by supporting our member dentists, advancing oral health education, and serving the communities of St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington Parishes.
Our Affiliations
Organized dentistry operates through a tripartite structure: the American Dental Association is the national organization, the Louisiana Dental Association is the state component, and Northlake Dental Association is the local component serving St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes.
Through this structure, NDA members are connected to their profession at the local, state and national levels.
American Dental Association (ADA)
The national organization of the dental profession, providing resources, advocacy and continuing education for dentists across the United States.
Louisiana Dental Association (LDA)
The state component representing Louisiana dentists and advocating for oral health statewide.
Northlake Dental Association (NDA)
The local component representing dentists in St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes.
Membership
Through the tripartite structure of organized dentistry, members connect with their profession at the national, state and local levels.
Northlake Dental Association provides local opportunities for continuing education, professional connection and community involvement.
Association Bylaws
Northlake Dental Association is governed by bylaws that establish the structure, responsibilities, membership provisions, elections, meetings, committees, and operations of the Association. The current bylaws were adopted January 23, 2025.
